Yes, you can download a soft copy of your PAN card in PDF format from the official website of the Income Tax Department of India. This facility is available for PAN holders whose PAN applications were processed through Protean e-Governance Infrastructure Limited (formerly NSDL e-Governance Infrastructure Limited).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To download your e-PAN card, follow these steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Visit the official website of the Income Tax Department of India: https:\/\/www.nsdl.co.in\/<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Click on the “Download e-PAN Card”<\/strong> link under the “PAN”<\/strong> tab.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Select the option “Download e-PAN card (For PAN allotted in last 30 days)”<\/strong> or “Download e-PAN card (For PAN allotted older or more than in last 30 days)”<\/strong>, depending on when your PAN was allotted.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Enter your PAN number and the captcha code, and click on the “Submit”<\/strong> button.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. On the next page, select the option to receive an OTP (One Time Password) on your mobile number or email address.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Enter the OTP in the box provided and click on the “Validate”<\/strong> button.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. Once the OTP is validated, you will be able to download your e-PAN card in PDF format.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Please note that the e-PAN card is password protected. The password is your date of birth in DDMMYYYY format.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Charges for downloading e-PAN card:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • For downloading e-PAN card within 30 days of allotment: Free of cost<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • For downloading e-PAN card after 30 days of allotment: Rs. 8.26 (inclusive of taxes)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Note:<\/strong> If you have not registered your mobile number or email address with the Income Tax Department, you will not be able to download your e-PAN card online.
