It is not possible to link the same Aadhaar<\/a> number to two different bank accounts. As per the rules set by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), an individual can link their Aadhaar number to only one bank account at a time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, an individual can link their Aadhaar number to multiple bank accounts as long as they are held by the same person, like a joint account or a minor account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You are also not able to use the same Aadhaar number to open multiple bank accounts with different banks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s always best to check with the bank, in case of any doubts, as the rules and regulations regarding Aadhaar-bank account linking may change from time to time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In India, it is mandatory to link your Aadhaar card with your bank account. As per the government’s directive, it is also necessary to provide your PAN (Permanent Account Number) card while opening a bank account in India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
